Ever since watching Greg LeMond race by me at the 1986 Coors Classic, I have had a fascination with cycling! I worked in bike shops during college in the 90’s, when mountain bikes began their popularity and serious innovations with all bikes and their components really took shape. Cycling has always been a part of my life.
I got interested in Cyclocross in 2013 and fell in love with it! I started photographing races in the Santa Cruz/Monterey area, as well as the Sacramento Cyclocross Series. I also participated, racing in the masters races. I have gained much being in this supportive, fun community!
Following this sport brought me to photograph it at it’s highest level, traveling to Bogense, Denmark for the Cyclocross World Championships in February 2019, photographing for Cyclocross Magazine.
